Sis Got Tea
We are Sis Got Tea, is Louisville, KY's, Black-owned, woman-owned, LGBTQ-owned tea business and cafe. We have a variety of eclectic teas you can't find anywhere else. We have something for every palate -- from fruity (like our White Peach) to floral (our Jasmine Oolong) to downright sweet (our Sweet Potato Pie blend is to die for). Stop by our cafe sometime (976 Barret Avenue, Louisville, KY, 40204); we have in-house brewed drinks, tasty treats, loose leaf tea for sale, and more. If you can't make it to our cafe, no worries: you can shop online at https://www.sisgotteaky.com.
Along with serving tea, treats, and vibes, we host community-focused events on a regular basis. Our events range from social meet-ups to informational workshops. Here's a few of the events we've done so far:
- Stitch n' Bitch
- Name Change Clinic
- Expungement Clinic
- Themed poetry nights
- Aromantic/asexual/demisexual social meetups
Our goal is simple: pour delicious tea and give back to the community. We give back in a variety of ways, including community-focused events and offering free resources in our bathroom (we always have Narcan, Plan B, fentanyl-testing strips, menstrual products, and sexual wellness kits on deck). Stop by sometime; we'd love to see you at an event.
